Robotic Storage Tank Inspection Services

At Hangar Road International, we offer robotic tank inspection services to ensure the integrity and safety of storage tanks. Our team deploys specialized robots, including ROVs and crawlers, to inspect internal surfaces, accessing areas inaccessible to humans. We use techniques like visual inspection, ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, and 3D laser scanning.

In partnership with our foreign partner, we also provide API 653-compliant online inspection of above-ground storage tanks using the UT robotic tank floor inspection system. This system, combined with Short Range Wave Ultrasonic Testing (SRUT), enables us to screen difficult-to-access locations, such as areas underneath support, clamps, and composite repairs, as well as the annular plate of above-ground storage tanks. Our testing equipment produces high-resolution, real-time color images of internal/external corrosion up to four feet from the transducer. Our services improve safety, reduce downtime and costs, increase efficiency and accuracy, and access previously inaccessible areas.
